A SWEATER GIRL’S” POSTULATES

Georgina Brandolini understands the underestimated power of knitwear; it is no coincidence that she has long been dubbed “the sweater girl.” She knows that a woman is more than her title, life is more than material possessions, and a sweater is more than a fashion item. This essential piece can elevate every occasion—whether for an evening rendezvous, a dinner, or a night out.

“I’ve always worn sweaters, even for the evening. People nowadays dress up less and travel more, so they put a sweater in a suitcase and a pair of black pants. For this reason, the sweater has to be perfect.” — GB

She is a rebel and a style virtuoso, constantly creating under the auspices of art, literature, and culture. Versatile and free-spirited, she consistently achieves everything she sets out to do—just like the woman who wears her brand. Her exclusivity comes from keeping things small and personal, choosing carefully, and never looking back at socially imposed patterns.

The brand specializes in luxury evening knitwear—sweaters and dresses designed to move seamlessly from day to night, with an effortless sense of confidence and allure.

At the heart of each piece is a signature, high-grade blend: 70% cashmere and 30% silk, spun into a single, precious material that feels light yet enveloping, luminous yet comforting. Each style is consciously made, with a deep respect for the hand, the time, and the expertise required to craft exceptional knitwear.

FROM RIO DE JANEIRO TO FASHION’S INNER CIRCLE

After working as an intern for Dior, Georgina Brandolini was introduced to Valentino Garavani in her hometown, Rio de Janeiro—a milestone that changed her life. She worked alongside Valentino for twenty years as his artistic muse, personal aide, and director of external and public relations. She then moved to Oscar de la Renta, and later to Balmain as general manager and marketing strategist. These experiences taught her the importance of an impeccable approach to clothing and gave her a solid foundation to launch her own fashion venture.

“Georgina has such a personal style that my suggestion was simply to design what she wears or would like to wear,” says Valentino. “She has a passion for sweaters, a collection of them, and knows every stitch and every yarn. How can she fail?”

Georgina became renowned for creating iconic pieces in the early 2000s, when she first noticed that true luxury sweaters were missing from the market. She envisioned knitwear with the presence of evening wear: sensual, structured, and striking—yet endlessly wearable.

Today, her creations are developed with three generations of knitwear know-how, partnering with specialists who understand technique as a heritage and precision as a discipline. From yarn selection to finishing, every step is guided by thoughtful choices: materials that last, details that flatter, and craftsmanship that honors the intelligence of the wearer.

A LONG-TERM VISIONARY

Georgina is driven by an ideal of understated elegance, paired with a deep understanding of responsible, long-lasting design.

The best intentions are the simplest: invest in pieces you truly love. Care for them. Enjoy wearing them, year after year.

And one day, be proud to pass this heritage on to the next generation.
